Pin Rules
Draft for India · updated 28 August 2026
1. Who can pin
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of making a payment. Do not submit a pin for another person without authority.
2. What is allowed
Original, lawful comments and links to an Instagram profile or post you control or are authorised to promote.
3. What is prohibited
- Illegal, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory or harassing material.
- Impersonation, scams, spam, malware, deceptive links or infringement of copyright or trademarks.
- Private information, phone numbers, addresses or personal data shared without lawful authority.
- Content involving or targeting children, or content that encourages self-harm, violence or unlawful activity.
4. Permanence and moderation
A safe pin is not removed merely because it loses rank. Rank may move whenever another user pays more. The platform owner alone administers moderation and may hide, restrict or remove content where reasonably necessary for law, safety, platform integrity or a binding government or court direction.
5. Ranking
The minimum entry amount is always ₹1. There is no maximum. Pins rank by total valid amount paid; if amounts tie, the earlier valid pin ranks first. Payment buys digital placement, not ownership, investment, lottery entry or a guaranteed audience.
Before paid launch
The operator’s legal name, complete business address, customer-care contact and designated grievance contact must be inserted here before accepting real payments. This draft is general compliance wording, not a substitute for advice from an Indian lawyer.
